Online Bibles

In the vast array of online Bibles available today (see the long list of links below), we strongly recommend the so-called Blue Letter Bible web site at www.blueletterbible.org. This extraordinary web site offers users access to the entire KJV text (english), combined with direct access to the Hebrew, Greek and even Old Testament Septuagint Greek texts. Hebrew and Greek concordance searches can be performed, and several Hebrew and Greek dictionaries accessed, offering the user powerful access to God's Word, rather than a translation of His Words. As the Hebrew and Greek dictionaries are limited in scope, we recommend Botterweck for Hebrew word studies, and Kittel for Greek word studies. Both are available for purchase online at Christian Book Distributors. Simply perform a search on the following (prices listed are indicatory only):
ISBN: 0802823386 "Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament, 12 Volumes" (Circa us$ 480)
ISBN: 0802824048 "Theological Dictionary of the New Testament, Abridged in One Volume" (Circa us$ 65)
ISBN: 0802823246 "Theological Dictionary of the New Testament, 10 Volumes" (Circa us$ 350)

Commentaries are one thing, but the humble study of God's Word, with an inner spirit that hungers for Truth is more important than all commentaries combined. It is therefore that we strongly recommend studying God's Word first and foremost.

A comprehensive list of on-line Bibles, in English and other languages, both ancient and modern; Each featured site having a short description of its content and arrangement.
